Turnaround and revisions
Our standard turnaround time is 7 business days from the point of sample layout approval through to final delivery. This timeframe allows for the complete formatting process to be carried out with precision, ensuring your book meets professional publishing standards across both print and digital formats.
Depending on the complexity of your manuscript and current production scheduling, projects are often completed sooner. However, we prioritise accuracy, consistency, and proper testing over speed, so your final files are delivered ready for upload without the need for last-minute fixes.
Once your files are delivered, you will have access to a 30-day revision window. This gives you the opportunity to review your formatted interior thoroughly, whether in print preview or across eReader devices, and request any layout or design refinements required.
This revision period is intended for formatting adjustments such as spacing, alignment, visual consistency, and minor layout changes. We work with you to ensure the final result reflects a clean, professional standard that supports your content and enhances readability.
It’s important to note that the revision window does not cover major content changes. If a new manuscript file is supplied after formatting has commenced, or if substantial edits are introduced — including rewritten sections, added chapters, or structural changes — this will require a revised scope of work.
In these cases, additional time and cost may apply, as the formatting process must be reworked to accommodate the updated content. This ensures the integrity of the final layout is maintained and avoids inconsistencies in the finished product.
